Národná diaľničná spoločnosť, a.s. (National Motorway Company, hereafter referred to as “NDS”) is responsible for maintaining and ensuring the passability of over 1,200 km of motorways, expressways, and selected first-class road sections during the winter season. This year, 710 workers and around 300 pieces of machinery have been mobilized for winter maintenance. The 2025/26 winter maintenance season began symbolically with the first intervention at the beginning of October. Meanwhile, preparatory activities for the upcoming winter season have been kicked off, and all the regional management and maintenance centres of NDS declare a full level of readiness.

Na juhu stredného Slovenska sa rodí nový príbeh dopravy. Úsek R2 Kriváň – Mýtna získava svoju finálnu podobu – na mostoch boli ukončené práce na hydroizolácii a zábradliach a zrealizovali sa zaťažovacie skúšky. Na hlavnej trase sa zrealizovali posledné vrstvy asfaltovej vozovky, dokončili sa práce na osadení zvodidiel a finalizujú sa práce na dopravnom značení. Národná diaľničná spoločnosť pokračuje aj v prácach na napojení predchádzajúceho rýchlostného úseku pri Mýtnej.
